The key feature for this website is for people to read news. Based on this requirement, the website has a home page feed with a large headline article, and latest news underneath. Suggested actions and news categories can be found on the home page as well. Each article has a main image which adds dynamics and colours to the website. These images are also shaped like message bubbles, representing how school news usually sparks conversations.
On the news page, users can browse school news by category, search for topics they are interested in, or look through recent posts for each category. After a user clicks on a category, or visits the category page via a link, the most recent article is presented to them and category-based news below. Actions related to the category is shown as well, for example school clubs or events.
